THE RESURRECTION

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Our faith has been passed on to us from generation to generation.
The stories of Jesus Christ have arrived at our doorstep after 2000
years of our brothers and sisters experiencing the “Resurrected
Presence” of Christ in their lives. Have we also experience HIM
who is “THE RESURRECTION”?

In today’s Gospel we have another account of the encounter of
the resurrected Christ. The disciples gathered in the upper room
where they encountered Christ in His Resurrected form. They
were able to see our Lord with their human eyes. They were able
to hear our Lord with their human ears. They were able to touch
our Lord with their human flesh. But most importantly of all they
were able to experience our resurrected Lord in the depths of their
very being. This encounter provided them the strength to go
out and “PROCLAIM” the Easter joy, that “Christ is Risen!”
