On Thursday, June 25, 2026, His Excellency Ivan Bishop Camilleri, together with Fr. Edwin Gonsalves, celebrated Mass and Graduation Closing Ceremonies with faculty, students and parents of St. Michael’s Choir School at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica.
Annually, since 1937, the Choir School celebrates the academic and sacred music excellence of their students at Closing Ceremonies, and presents the graduating class to the community. This year, the Choir School recognized thirty graduating students in the Class of 2026, celebrating the conclusion of their ten-year journey at the school.
In his Homily, Bishop Camilleri stressed to the graduates the importance of brotherhood, their commitment to the sacred music program and their continued faith formation after graduation. Bishop Camilleri serves as a board member of the Corporate Board of St. Michael’s Choir School, with the Chancellor of the Choir School, His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo.
