St. Mary's Annual Blessing of the Animals

The Franciscan Spirit Padre Pio Prayer Group with St. Mary's Church will have a special Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in honour of St. Francis of Assisi's. The blessing will take place at 12:00noon outside the main church entrance on the west side of the building. All are welcome to bring their two-legged friends, such as birds, or four-legged companion's. This event is free of charge. Please keep your pets safe and under control and always be mindful of the safety of others. All animals must be kept in a carrier or on a leash.
